soil: A mix of organic matter, minerals, gases, liquids, and living organisms
Abiotic Factors: non-living chemical and physical elements in any ecosystem or environment. examples of abiotic factors include the sun, water cycle, and mineral content of soil.
Biotic factors: living organisms in an ecosystem. These organisms are sourced from the biosphere. Some biotic factors include birds, fungi, insects, and other living organisms.
microclimate lab
In this lab we surveyed five different microclimates to determine what effect abiotic factors had on the soil quality. To the right is our data compiled in bar graphs.
